Constantinos Herodotou is the Governor of the Central Bank of Cyprus (CBC) and a member of the Governing Council of the European Central Bank. Previously he served as Executive Director at the CBC’s Board of Directors (2017-2019). He also held the position of the Commissioner of Privatisations in Cyprus (2014-2017).
Before moving to Cyprus in 2014, most of his career was in investment banking at UBS Investment Bank in London, where he rose through the ranks to head concurrently two sectors: Head of Shipping for Europe, Middle East and Africa and simultaneously Infrastructure & Project Concessions Advisory & Financing for Central & Eastern Europe. He has advised governments and global conglomerates on major financial transactions and strategy, totaling a value of over €50 billion. His experience includes among others, mergers and acquisitions, structuring and financing project concessions, listing companies on stock exchanges (NASDAQ and NYSE), structuring and raising equity and debt, corporate and financial restructurings and heading complex negotiations.

Vladimir Tofoski, the Chief Financial Officer and an Executive Board member of Eurobank Direktna in Serbia, is a banking professional with 20 years of experience in finance, risk management, regulatory reporting, and M&A consulting. His general focus is on business growth through adequate strategic positioning, development of business through M&A, and the use of tailor-made pricing tools in profitability optimisation. Prior to joining Eurobank Group in 2016, he held the position of the CFO of Alpha Bank Serbia, an on-site supervisor for banks at the Central Bank of Serbia, and an M&A consultant in the Citadel Financial Advisory. Mr. Nicholas Valanides is the Head of Finance of the Natural Gas Public Company (DEFA) in Cyprus. Before acquiring his position at DEFA he worked in the UK as a Senior Associate at Deloitte LLP in the Energy Infrastructure & Utilities Department. In the past, he also worked as a Special Bids Pricer in the Finance Department at IBM Ltd North Harbour Headquarters in Portsmouth, UK.
Mr. Valanides graduated from The English School, Nicosia. He holds a First Class BSc in Economics from the University of Warwick and a M. Phil in Finance from the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
