Smita was recently nominated as the ‘Businesswoman of the Year’ in Asia and has won the ‘Global Super Woman Achiever Award’ from the Global HRD Congress. She was appointed to the Asia Pacific Advisory Board of the CMO Council in 2012. Smita graduated with an MBA from Ohio University, USA and a Bachelor of Economics from Delhi University, India. Before that, I was the CEO of the company I started to work for as the first team member: Nirshamim Ltd. A lead generation platform for higher education institutes. The company was the first of its kind and was very successful. We were bought out by the largest media group in Israel at the time: Internet Gold.


I am an active advocate for women’s rights and preserve the memories of holocaust survivors, all of whom will disappear from the world in a few years. I have also mentored many young women and will continue to do so in the coming years.


I was awarded “top 100 influencers in digital” at 2017.
