Kyriakos Iordanou
General Manager at Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC)
Kyriakos Iordanou is the General Manager of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC) since January 2012. He has been actively involved with the Institute for many years, serving as a Council member between 2002 to 2011, and holding the position of the Vice President for the period 2009-2011. Kyriakos’ professional career began in January 1995 in the banking sector and spanned as financial controller in public and private companies, as well as financial and business advisor to firms in Cyprus and abroad until 2004. He then worked for the Human Resource Development Authority of Cyprus, initially as the chief accountant and then as the internal auditor from 2004 until the end of 2011. He also served as a council member of the Cyprus Institute of Internal Auditors (2006-2011). Kyriakos qualified as a Certified Accountant in 1997 and is now a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Kyriakos is a member of ICPAC and qualified as an ACCA in 1997 and is a Fellow since 2002. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CPFA) and a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (FCIS). In addition, he is a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (MCIM). Kyriakos is a holder of a Master’s in Business Administration degree (MBA).

Maria Cauchi Delia

Maria Cauchi Delia is the Chief Executive Officer of the Malta Institute of Accountants, the sole professional accountancy body in Malta. In her role, she leads the institution in the fulfilment of its strategic objectives, in advising national and international institutions in matters concerning the profession and the wider financial industry and represents the MIA in its engagements with key stakeholders at both national and international level.
As a certified public accountant, Ms Cauchi Delia brings extensive expertise gained from her diverse experience in both the public and private sectors, having worked in various institutions in Malta and abroad. She holds a degree from the University of Malta and is a Fellow Member of the Malta Institute of Accountants.

Ioannis Arampatzis

Ioannis Arampatzis is the Commercial Finance Growth Manager at BAT, responsible for the markets of Greece, Malta, Cyprus and Israel. Holding extensive international experience in the areas of Financial Management, Business Partnering and Treasury, he has worked in 3 European countries (Greece, Estonia, Bulgaria). Prior to his current position, he was CFO of Timac Agro in Greece, Commercial Finance Business Partner at Coca-Cola HBC Baltics and Credit Controller at AP Moller Maersk. Ioannis holds the professional qualification of a Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA), Financial Planning Analyst (FPAC), an MBA in Finance as well as Professional Coaching Diploma (EMCC, AC qualified from Athens Coaching Institute).

Andreas Theocharides

Andreas has been the Director and CFO of PepsiCo (Cyprus) International since June 2020. PepsiCo International is the world's second-largest food and beverage business based on net revenue, profit, and market capitalization. He graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University, United Kingdom, with a BA (High Honors) in Accounting and Finance and held the professional title ACA (ICAEW). He worked for KPMG in Cyprus, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and specialised in valuation projects and auditing listed companies. He then joined, as CFO, the listed Frou-Frou Group of Companies, one of Cyprus' most prominent producers in the food and beverage industry. With a decade of experience in CFO roles, Andreas has a strong background in people management and attaining organisational efficiency. He is a business-intelligent accountant with operational decision-making. He emphasises striving for excellence, and high achievement.

Eliza Livadiotou
Executive Director Finance & Legacy at Bank of Cyprus
Eliza is the Executive Director Finance & Legacy since January 2022, and since 6 October 2021 she has been an Executive Member of the Bank of Cyprus Board of Directors.
She is responsible for Finance, Treasury, Strategy and Corporate Finance, Investor Relations, ESG, Real Estate Management, Restructuring & Recoveries, Regulatory Affairs, Procurement and Economic Research.
She began her career in 1995 with the audit firm Arthur Andersen in Cambridge, UK, where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant. In 1999 she joined Bank of Cyprus, as Assistant to the Group Chief General Manager. In 2005 she moved to the Finance Division.
In December 2013, Eliza was appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and from 2016 to late 2021 she was responsible for the Finance and Treasury Divisions. In October 2021, she was appointed Executive Member of the Board of Directors.
Eliza studied Economics at the University of Cambridge (MA Hons).
She is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Bank of Cyprus Oncology Centre, a Non Independent and Non-Executive member of the Board of Directors of CISCO, and a member of the banking committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Adonis Sotiriou

Eleni Aristodemou

With more than 25 years of financial expertise, Eleni currently serves as the CFO at Superhome Center (DIY) Limited, a prominent player in Cyprus's DIY sector for the past 7 years. She began her career as an accountant at PWC Cyprus, specializing in the Offshore and Administration department. Her expertise further continued to grow through a 15-year role as the Chief Accountant at C.A. Papaellinas Emporiki Ltd – Aphamega Hypermarkets.

Prior to joining Flyfish, a startup in the payments space, he was the Group CFO and Executive Director of Oval Money, a regulated investment firm. Savvas started his career at KPMG and Deloitte, prior to joining Cyprus Popular Bank Group to serve as a Corporate Finance Manager under its Investment Banking arm. He then relocated to Serbia to assume the position of CFO and Executive Board member of the group’s subsidiary bank. After 5 years in Serbia, he returned to Cyprus to take over as Internal Audit Manager at Bank of Cyprus Group and he then joined Ancoria Bank, where he served as CFO since its launch of operations.

Nicolas Panayi

Constantinos Mourouzides

Angelina Markari

Angelina is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (FCA) and holds a BSc (Hons). She has been serving as the Finance Director of Sodexo and a key member of the management team in Cyprus and Falklands for over 10 years, with extensive experience in financial and commercial contract management. Sodexo, the global leader in sustainable food and valued experiences and one of the biggest employers internationally, provides food and facilities management services across over 45 countries. In Cyprus, Sodexo provides facilities management services including catering, cleaning, retail and waste management within the British Sovereign Base Areas. Angelina started her career and qualified with KPMG London in 2001. She later joined KPMG Cyprus, where she gained managerial exposure in auditing and advisory matters. She held Finance Manager roles in Amdocs and IKOS CIF before joining Sodexo in 2010. Angelina has been an executive committee member of the board of CIBA (Cyprus International Businesses Association) since 2007.

George Roussos

Valia Babis

Valia Babis is Advisor the Governor at the Bank of Greece specialising on innovation and digital finance.
From 2017-2020, Valia was Legal Counsel at the Bank of England, advising on highly technical aspects of banking regulation and supervision.
From 2014-2017, Valia qualified and worked as solicitor in Magic Circle law firm Allen & Overy in London. She holds a PhD in Law from the University of Cambridge and was elected Research Fellow in the University of Cambridge from 2013-2016. Her research has won international awards and has been published extensively. Prior to pursuing her PhD, Valia obtained a first-class Master's in Commercial Law (LL.M.), also from the University of Cambridge. Aristodemos Yiannakas
President of the Cyprus Institute of Internal Auditors
Aristodemos is the President of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Institute of Internal Auditors. He is also an independent Member of the Economic Crime and Forensic Accounting Committee of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus and a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. He has over 25 years of experience in internal auditing, fraud investigation, anti-money laundering, and consulting. He holds a BA (Hons) in Economics, a Master of Business Administration, an MSc in Internal Auditing and Management and a PhD in Internal Auditing. He is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
He is a Partner in Ernst & Young Cyprus Limited, leading the Forensics & Integrity Service Line. Ronald Mizzi

Ronald Mizzi is the Chief Financial Officer of APS Bank plc, a position he has been holding since joining the Bank in 2020. Ronald is responsible for leading and maintaining the effective governance and stewardship of the Bank’s finance, asset-liability management, and capital management programme. He is also responsible for business process reengineering, operational effectiveness and data integrity initiatives at the Bank.
Prior to joining APS, Ronald was Group Chief Financial Officer at FIMBank plc where he was responsible for the Group’s financial planning and accounting, regulatory reporting, tax, business strategy, capital planning, and investment decisions. He was also engaged with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Malta within its Assurance Department, with parallel engagements with PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Channel Islands and New York.
Ronald is a Council Member of the Malta Institute of Accountants and sits on the Institute’s Financial Services Committee and Sustainable Finance Committee. Ronald holds a BA (Hons) in Accountancy from the University of Malta and a Diploma in VAT Compliance from the institute of Indirect Taxation (UK). He is a warranted CPA and holds a Practicing Certificate in Auditing, both issued by the Accountancy Board in Malta, and is a Fellow of the Malta Institute of Accountants.

George Shiammoudis
Director, PwC Advisory, Senior Member of the ESG Platform at PwC Cyprus
George is an Advisory Director at PwC Cyprus with around 20 years of experience in the provision of risk, regulatory compliance and financial advisory services, both in an advisory capacity and from his prior role at a local banking institution. He is a senior member of the ESG Team at PwC Cyprus who has been advising clients across different sectors on matters relating to the identification and assessment of climate-related and environmental risks as well as ESG reporting, including the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (“CSRD”) and other regulatory requirements emanating from the wider EU Sustainable Finance agenda.
George is a Fellow Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Economics from the University of Cyprus and a Master’s Degree (MSc) in Finance and Economics from the University of Warwick. George has also served as a member of the Financial Services Committee of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (“ICPAC”) and he is currently a member of ICPAC’s ESG & Sustainability Committee.

Stavros Kattamis

Stavros Kattamis is a business professional with 40 years of experience at PwC. Stavros led the Finance Function for almost 30 years and the Operations function for 5 years, contributing significantly to its digital transformation.
During his career, he has been leading various projects including amongst others, Mergers and Acquisitions, major ERP implementations and Digital Transformation projects. He believes that a modern CFO must take full advantage of the technology and transform the operating model of the finance function starting from the data collection process to the issue and distribution of information to the stakeholders. He is a fellow member of the ACCA and member of the ICPAC since 1995. He is currently the Chairman of the CFO committee of ICPAC and sits on various boards as non-executive.

Costas Vichas
2020 European Citizen Award Winner
Costas Vichas was awarded the “European Citizen” award for 2020, in relation to his humanitarian action in the Cypriot society.
Costas Vichas underlined this award reflects all the charitable work done with the help of the Center for Social Services Andreas Sophocleous (KEPAKY) and his wife and Chairman of the Board of the Center, Assousena Sophocleous, Aitreni Grami, the athletes, gymnasts and technicians of the Limassol team, but also actors, volunteers and ordinary people “who have been helping and supporting their fellow human beings for years.
The Yellow Line of Help and Solidarity is a humanitarian partnership of KEPAKY-AEL-Costas Vichas that started in March 2020 with the aim of addressing the social consequences created by the Covid-19 health crisis.
So far, the Yellow Line has delivered 15,000 packages to our fellow citizens in the provinces of Limassol, Nicosia and Paphos, helping to meet their basic needs.

Caitriona Allis

Caitriona is the Head of Europe for ACCA. She is a Qualified Accountant and a Member of ACCA. Caitriona is a graduate of University College Dublin, Ireland, and she has previously worked with Mazars and PwC. She leads a team of over 40 people in 52 markets across Europe and is ultimately responsible for the strategic development of the professional body across Europe. She is a regular commentator on issues facing the accounting profession, such as sustainability, talent, skills and technology.

Charis Charilaou
Chief Executive Officer at TFI Markets
Charis Charilaou has been with TFI since 2001 and his previous role as an Executive Director saw him responsible for managing the overall Treasury Operation of the company.
Previously Charis was the executive director of Altus Investments Ltd and worked for Arab Bank Plc as a Senior Dealer. He has over 25 years of experience in the international financial markets dealing with Corporate Clients in the fields of Foreign Exchange, money markets, hedging derivatives and treasury consultancy.
Charis holds a BA from the University of Essex in Accounting & Finance and an MSc in International Banking & Finance from the University of Southampton.

Angelos Charisteas
Vice Governor at Region of Central Macedonia, ex-National Professional Footballer
Angelos Charisteas is a retired professional football player best known for his time playing as a forward for the Greek national team. He is currently serving as a Vice Governor in the Region of Central Macedonia, leading and coordinating various initiatives and projects that aim to improve the quality of life and well-being of the citizens and communities in the region. He is also a Vice President of the organisation “Champions for Life”, a mentor in 128 football academies in Greece, coaching more than 20,000 kids and a UEFA Ambassador for EURO 2024. In addition, he is studying for a master’s degree in Business Administration at Aegean College.
Lately, he has been using his experience and skills in motivational speaking and public relations to engage and empower the youth, the volunteers, and the public, as well as to promote the values of solidarity, diversity, and excellence.
Born on February 9, 1980, in Serres, Greece, Angelos Charisteas began his football career in the youth ranks before making his professional debut with Aris Thessaloniki in 1997. He later went on to play for prominent foreign clubs such as Werder Bremen, Ajax, Feyenoord, Nurnberg, Bayer Leverkusen, Schalke 04 and others. He won the Bundesliga and the German Cup in the 2003-2004 season with Werder Bremen and also the German Cup with Schalke 04 in 2011. Angelos Charisteas achieved legendary status in Greek football history when he scored the winning goal in the final of UEFA Euro 2004 against Portugal and ranked as the second top scorer for the Greek national team with 25 goals.
After retiring from professional football, Angelos Charisteas remained involved in football-related activities, working as a sporting director and a player agent in ArisThessaloniki. Charisteas's legacy as a key figure in Greek football continues to inspire future generations of players in the country.

Odysseas Christodoulou

Odysseas is the Vice President at the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC), having served in the Council for a number of years. He served for six years in the International Assembly of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants as an elected member representing the Cyprus members.
He is a Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and holds an MBA in Accounting and Finance. He is a Fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (FCIB) and a member of the Institute of Management Accountants (CMA).
Odysseas was the CEO and Co-founder of Globaltraining and the Chief Operations Officer of EDEX – Educational Excellence Corporation for more than twelve years. He was also a Council member of the University of Nicosia for more than a decade.
He served as a Board member and non-executive Director of Ancoria Bank and Laiki Financial Services. Odysseas started his career in the accounting profession as an auditor with Coopers & Lybrand and in the banking sector with Lombard Natwest Bank and Cyprus Popular Bank.

Constantinos Tziamalis
Deputy Chief Executive Officer of ASBIS Group
Constantinos Tziamalis holds a B.Sc. in Banking and Financial Services and a Masters (M.Sc.) in Finance (Corporate Credit Controller & Investor Relations). Constantinos Tziamalis worked at the private banking department of BNP Paribas in Cyprus and then joined a brokerage house, Proteas Asset Management Limited, where he worked for 3 years as Investor Accounts Manager. Constantinos joined the Company in January 2002 as Financial Project Manager. He was promoted to the position of Corporate Credit Controller & Investor Relations in March 2003, and became Director of Credit and Investor Relations as of 23 April 2007. In February 2022, he was nominated to the newly created position of Deputy CEO of ASBIS Group.

He is a Member of the Committee of the Ministry of Finance for the Tax Reformation in Greece,
representing the private sector and a Financial Consultant to the Ministry of Development. He has worked in prestigious organisations such as Alcon Laboratories, Sheraton, Agroinvest, ACCOR and Acciona.

Antonis Diolas
Head of Audit and Assurance – Policy & Insights at ACCA
Antonis is Head of Audit and Assurance at ACCA’s Policy & Insights team. He leads ACCA’s policy on audit and assurance matters, contributing to Policy & Insights publications and responses to consultations. Antonis engages at local and international levels with key organisations – including the UK’s Financial Reporting Council (FRC), the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB) and Accountancy Europe.
Antonis previously served as a technical advisor of the IAASB and the IFAC SMP Advisory Group and is a member of the Audit and Assurance Policy Group at Accountancy Europe. Before joining ACCA, Antonis worked as an auditor for EY in London and the Channel Islands specialising in financial services. He also worked for KPMG in Cyprus.
Antonis holds an LLB (Hons) Law degree from the University of Essex, the CFA Certificate in ESG investing and is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. He is also a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus.

Nicolas Jirkas

Nicolas Jirkas is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Deputy CEO) of the Island Oil (Holdings) group of companies and an Executive Member of the Board of Directors. As Deputy CEO of a respected supplier in the global marine bunker market, Nicolas is responsible for leading subsidiaries and departments of the group.
Nicolas joined Island Oil (Holdings) in 2011 as CFO, leading the Accounts and Finance Department for 12 years during which the group experienced its most significant growth.
His prior experience includes serving as the Group Financial Controller of the largest dairy products company in Cyprus.
Nicolas is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), having gained his qualification in 1998 while working in London. He holds a degree in Bsc, Economics (Accounting & Finance) from the London School of Economics (LSE).
He lives in Nicosia with his family (wife and three children).

Andreas Antoniades
Accountant General at the Republic of Cyprus
Andreas Antoniades was appointed Accountant General on 4 August 2023. Previously, he was a Director of Financial Services in the Treasury of the Republic and was positioned as Head of Accounting and Financial Management of the Ministry of Finance since April 2023.
He is a chartered accountant, member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC) since 2002. He was the Secretary and, later, Vice-Chairman of the Public Sector Committee of the ICPAC during the period from 2006 to 2010.
He has 25 years of experience in the private sector, in the public sector in Cyprus and in the EU institutions. He worked in a big audit firm in Cyprus for a period of six years and has been serving the public sector from various positions associated with public financial management since 2004.
During the period from 2010 to 2016, he offered his services to the European Court of Auditors in Luxembourg, as attaché and, later, as Head of Cabinet of the Cypriot Member, Mr Lazarou S. Lazarou, whose main responsibility was the audit of the reliability of the accounts of the European Union, as well as the public governance of the European Commission.
By Decisions of the Council of Ministers, he was appointed as official member of Water Supply Boards (Larnaca 2017-2019 and Limassol 2019-2023), representing the former Accountant General of the Republic, Mrs Rea Georgiou.

Marios Melanides

Marios Melanides is an HR professional with more than 30 years of experience in the area of human resources. Before setting up his own advisory practice in 2022, he worked for PwC Cyprus for 20 years, where he held the position of Human Capital Director. Prior to PwC, he worked for Laiki Bank and Sharelink Financial Services as the Head of Human Capital. Nowadays, Marios is the Managing Director of M MELANIDES People Advisory and the Cyprus Country Partner of Evalion-SHL Greece & Cyprus, a firm of occupational psychologists based in Athens, which specializes in talent acquisition and development.
During his professional career, Marios led numerous projects related to various HR-related areas, such as performance management, recruitment and selection, training and development, etc. He is often invited to give lectures to university students and participate in round table discussions organized by various bodies.
Marios holds a Bachelor’s Degree (BA) in Political Economy from the University of Greenwich (London) and a Master’s Degree (MBA) in Human Resource Management from the City University Business School (London). Haris Topharides currently holds the position of Group Finance Director of Medochemie Ltd, the largest pharmaceutical company and one of the largest export companies of Cyprus. Haris joined Medochemie in 2000 and has been leading the company's Accounting & Finance Department since 2005. During this period, the company expanded significantly its operations internationally and recorded substantial growth.
Prior to joining Medochemie, Haris worked in Russia as the Finance Director of a Canadian group of companies with diversified operations in Russia. He is a fellow member of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accounts of Cyprus.
