Stavros Kattamis

Chairman of the Administrative Committee of the ICPAC CFO Society

Stavros Kattamis is a business professional with 40 years of experience at PwC. Stavros led the Finance Function for almost 30 years and the Operations function for 5 years, contributing significantly to its digital transformation.
During his career, he has been leading various projects including amongst others, Mergers and Acquisitions, major ERP implementations and Digital Transformation projects. He believes that a modern CFO must take full advantage of the technology and transform the operating model of the finance function starting from the data collection process to the issue and distribution of information to the stakeholders. He is a fellow member of the ACCA and member of the ICPAC since 1995. He is currently the Chairman of the CFO committee of ICPAC and sits on various boards as non-executive.

Theo Skagias

Theo Skagias pursued his academic studies in the UK, earning a BA in Business Economics from Swansea University, followed by an MSc in Management with a focus on Marketing. 

After completing his education, he remained in the UK, gaining valuable experience as an events and marketing coordinator.

Upon returning to Greece, Theo took on key roles within SKAG, initially leading the exports department before advancing to Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Procurement Director and also as an integral part of the company’s leadership as a member of the board of directors.

In addition to his work at SKAG, Theo serves as Vice President of the board of S.E.V.A. and is a member of the Deontology Committee at ELLA-DIKA MAS (Essentially Greek). Theo is President of S.E.V.A. and selected in Fortune 40 under 40.

His professional achievements have been recognised, as he is listed on the prestigious CFO 100 Powerlist, published by Boussias Communications.

Professor James Ker-Lindsay

Academic and Analyst

James Ker-Lindsay is an academic, analyst, and content creator. A specialist on conflict, peace, and security, he has published 15 books, including “The Cyprus Problem: What Everyone Needs to Know” (Oxford University Press). After starting his career at the Royal United Services Institute, the world’s oldest security think tank, he was a senior research fellow and visiting professor at the London School of Economics (2008-2024). He has also served as an advisor to many governments and international organisations, including the Foreign Office and the United Nations. Now based in Cyprus, he primarily focuses on explaining international relations via his YouTube Channel @ProfJamesKerLindsay. He holds a BSc(econ) from London University and an MA and PhD from the University of Kent, where he remains a visiting professor.

Wojtek Wieroński

Global CFO - E-comm, Retail. Pharma at PHH Group

Wojtek is a globally experienced CFO, recently responsible for Finance operations in PHH Group (the biggest online operator across Baltics). Up to Sep 2024 he was leading finance team and being a Board Member of OTCF Group (owner of 4F brand). Prior to that he was acting as General Manager Finance for Polish subsidiary of Media Markt Saturn Group, before that for previous 18 months led entire finance operations of Polish subsidiary of Dr Max, the biggest pharmacy chain in Central Europe and Poland. 

Vast majority of Wojtek’s career was spent in retail sector, namely with Tesco PLC Group. He had grown within the organization from junior Business Analyst role to regional CFO one he had been performing for 3.5 years between 2015-2018. 

He graduated from University of Economics in Cracow (faculty: Finance and Banking, obtained Master’s Degree in Corporate Finance Management in 1999). 

He qualified within CIMA in 2008 and became a Fellow in May 2016. Elected for the first time to the Regional Board in 2018 where he was leading one of successful members engagement initiatives in Poland – CIMA Mentoring Programme. Became member of CIMA Council from November 2019 where up to now he represents European region. 

In his leisure time Wojtek enjoys doing sports (swimming, cycling,  running and diving) as well as travelling to exotic places.

Ανδρέας Θεοχαρίδης γεννήθηκε στη Λευκωσία της Κύπρου τον Απρίλιο του 1986. Το 2007 ξεκίνησε σπουδές στην Αγγλία και το 2010 απέκτησε το πτυχίο του, BA in Accounting and Finance, από το Manchester Metropolitan University. Ακολούθως, επέστρεψε στην Κύπρο, όπου ξεκίνησε την επαγγελματική του πορεία για την απόκτηση του τίτλου Chartered Accountant (ACA) στην KPMG. Παρέμεινε στον οργανισμό μέχρι το 2014, φθάνοντας στη θέση του Assistant Manager, με κύριες αρμοδιότητες τον οικονομικό έλεγχο μεγάλων τραπεζικών ιδρυμάτων και εταιρειών εισηγμένων στο χρηματιστήριο.

Fabian Wedam is a senior international finance executive and currently Vice President Controlling, Performance & Advanced Analytics at OMV Petrom Group, leading the transformation of finance and data‑driven decision making across the organisation. With more than 20 years of experience across Austria, Germany, Turkey, and Romania, he has headed large-scale businesses and finance organisations in the oil, gas, energy, and aviation sectors.

He previously served as Global Head of Aviation for OMV Group, where he reshaped the portfolio strategy, delivered significant profitability growth, and introduced Sustainable Aviation Fuels to the group.

Fabian has a strong track record in digital transformation, SAP S/4HANA programs, advanced analytics, M&A, and corporate finance, as well as building and scaling new business units.

Educated at the University of Vienna, IMD, and Ashridge Business School, he is known for combining strategic vision with execution in highly dynamic and complex environments.

Jamie Lyon is a policy and research executive with 30 years of experience working across the world with oversight responsibilities for a team of experts. His team is responsible for ACCA global policy work, thought-leadership and research across many areas including AI & Technology, Global Economy & Geopolitical Impacts, Executive CFO & Finance Transformation, Governance & Risk Management. His personal expertise is focused on talent management and the future of work and careers. For the last ten years Jamie has also served as a technical adviser at the International Federation of Accountants in New York. Peter Van Veen

Peter is the Director of Corporate Governance & Stewardship at the ICAEW where he is responsible for supporting chartered accountants to be better board directors and in turn improving the quality of corporate governance. 

Peter is an expert on good governance, responsible business practices, business ethics, corporate culture, risk & resilience, supply chain due diligence, ESG, stewardship and good board practice. At the ICAEW he is responsible for a thought leadership series called the “New Boardroom Agenda” and leads the Corporate Governance Community for members. Prior to joining the ICAEW, Peter was the Chief Ethics & Compliance OLicer for several multinational enterprises, including Dentsu International. Peter was a member of the leadership team at Transparency International UK (TI-UK)

where set up the successful Business Integrity Programme.

Peter serves on the Board of Transparency International and has served on various boards, including the advisory board of AIM Progress, the global ethical supply chain initiative. He is a regular guest lecturer at LSE on ethical decision making.

Earlier in his career Peter was a strategy consultant with Andersen Consulting and SRI International and an CEO and CXO for a number of businesses in research, retail and tech.

Odysseas Christodoulou

Odysseas is the President at the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC), having served in the Council for a number of years. He served for six years in the International Assembly of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants as an elected member representing the Cyprus members. 

He is a Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and holds an MBA in Accounting and Finance. He is a Fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (FCIB) and a member of the Institute of Management Accountants (CMA). 

Odysseas was the CEO and Co-founder of Globaltraining and the Chief Operations Officer of EDEX – Educational Excellence Corporation for more than twelve years. He was also a Council member of the University of Nicosia for more than a decade.

He served as a Board member and non-executive Director of Ancoria Bank and Laiki Financial Services. Odysseas started his career in the accounting profession as an auditor with Coopers & Lybrand and in the banking sector with Lombard Natwest Bank and Cyprus Popular Bank.

Mr. Charalambos Panayiotou holds a BSc in Management Sciences from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus since 1996.

His work experience includes Coopers and Lybrand and Cyprus Popular Bank. He served as the Financial Controller of the Holy Bishopric of Paphos. Since 2010, he is the Managing Director of the KEO plc Group. He served on the boards of St. George Hotel (Management) Ltd, SM Tsada Golf Ltd, the Hellenic Mining Group companies, Hellenic Bank Public Company Ltd and Vassiliko Cement Works Plc. He is also a board member of the Cyprus Employers & Industrialists Federation.

Eleni Kaloyirou

Eleni Kaloyirou is the CEO of Hermes Airports since May 2016. She has over 30 years work experience in the aviation industry, having previously served as CFO and later deputy CEO of Cyprus Airways. Before entering the aviation world she worked for KPMG in Cyprus and London. She served as a Board member of ACI Europe between 2019-2025 and is now a Board member of the ACI World Governing Board representing ACI Europe.  She also served as a member of the ICAEW Travel, Tourism & Hospitality Community advisory group between 2018-2024. 
 
Eleni is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and a member of the ICPAC. She holds a BA and an MA degree in Economics from Cambridge University.

Haris Hambakis

Haris Hambakis is the Deputy CEO of Eurobank Limited. He holds a BSc in Economics from University College London and an MSc in Shipping, Trade and Finance from City Business School. With over 25 years of experience in the banking sector, he began his career at Laiki Bank in Greece and later held senior roles within the Laiki Group in Cyprus, including Head of Global Capital Markets, Project Manager for international banking projects, Private Banking Manager, and Director of Wealth Management.

He subsequently spent 15 years at Eurobank Cyprus in key leadership positions across Wealth Management, Treasury & Global Capital Markets, IT, Digital Transformation, the Banking Centre Network, and International Business Banking. In 2022, he became CEO of Eurobank Private Bank Luxembourg while also serving as Head of Group Private Banking at Eurobank Group.

In September 2024, Haris was appointed Deputy CEO of Hellenic Bank. Following the 2025 legal merger of Eurobank Cyprus with Hellenic Bank, he retained the role of Deputy CEO in the newly combined entity, Eurobank Limited, where he oversees Operations, Technology & Digital, Transformation & Innovation, Data & Analytics, and Arrears & NPA Management.

Sofocles Tymvios is the CEO of Swissport Cyprus, Eastern Europe and Near East, responsible for the operations of the of the company in Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania, Israel and Serbia.  These entities employ 2,500 staff in total and have annual revenues of €135m.  He is also involved in the business development of Swissport in the countries in the area.  He has joined Swissport in 2015 as the CFO for the Cyprus entity and became the CEO for Cyprus in 2021 before assuming his current role in 2023.  Previously, he held senior finance positions in large private and public companies in Cyprus including Cyprus Airways Public Ltd.  He graduated from Manchester University with a BA degree in Economics and Social Studies in 1992 and joined Deloitte in London where he obtained the Chartered Accountant qualification from ICAEW in 1995.  He is currently a Fellow Chartered Accountant.  

He is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC), found its CFO committee in 2015 and launched its mentoring program in 2019.

Michalis Zinieris

Alpinist & Motivational Speaker

Christina Flabouri is a mountaineer and motivational speaker. She is the first Greek woman to summit Mount Everest and one of only 70 women worldwide and the first from Greece, to complete the global mountaineering challenge “7 Summits”, meaning that she climbed the tallest mountain on each of the world’s seven continents.

Her story was brought to life as a children’s book titled “On the 7 Summits” (Patakis Publications), with the aim of inspiring both children and adults to pursue their dreams.

Her love for nature and family led her to create the community Outdoor Moms, a group dedicated to inspiring new mothers to keep chasing their dreams while discovering the benefits of nature together with their children.

Angelina is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (FCA) and holds a BSc (Hons).  She has been serving as the Finance Director of Sodexo and a key member of the management team in Cyprus and Falklands for over 10 years, with extensive experience in financial and commercial contract management. Sodexo, the global leader in sustainable food and valued experiences and one of the biggest employers internationally, provides food and facilities management services across over 45 countries.  In Cyprus, Sodexo provides facilities management services including catering, cleaning, retail and waste management within the British Sovereign Base Areas. Angelina started her career and qualified with KPMG London in 2001. She later joined KPMG Cyprus, where she gained managerial exposure in auditing and advisory matters.  She held Finance Manager roles in Amdocs and IKOS CIF before joining Sodexo in 2010. Angelina has been an executive committee member of the board of CIBA (Cyprus International Businesses Association) since 2007.

Eleni Aristodemou

With more than 25 years of financial expertise, Eleni currently serves as the CFO at Superhome Center (DIY) Limited, a prominent player in Cyprus's DIY sector for the past 7 years. She began her career as an accountant at PWC Cyprus, specializing in the Offshore and Administration department. Her expertise further continued to grow through a 15-year role as the Chief Accountant at C.A. Papaellinas Emporiki Ltd – Aphamega Hypermarkets.

Eleni is a Fellow member of the Institute of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) and is a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus. She holds a Master of Science in Business Finance and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance.

Panos Panayiotou is a seasoned Cybersecurity advisor and founder of circl3.tech, a boutique cybersecurity advisory firm serving clients across multiple industries in their NIS2, DORA, and broader cybersecurity and compliance journeys. Over a 20-year career in banking, he established the CISO offices at Laiki Bank and Bank of Cyprus, then spent 3 years leading the Directorate of Cybersecurity at the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation & Digital Policy. Panos serves as an expert-member of ENISA's ad-hoc working groups for EU Cybersecurity Certification (EUCS) and the European Cybersecurity Skills Framework (ECSF), and is a certified Digital Security Authority (DSA) Auditor. With this depth of experience across banking, government, and EU-level policy, Panos and his team now helps organisations navigate the evolving regulatory landscape and build lasting cyber resilience.

Christiana Christofi

Christiana Christofi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public and Business Administration from the University of Cyprus and a Master’s degree in Management from the University of Surrey, United Kingdom. Following a brief tenure in market research, she commenced her HR career in 1998 as an HR Advisor at KPMG Greece’s People Services Department. In 2000, she joined KPMG Cyprus’s Human Resources Advisory Department, advancing to HR Director and leading it for ten years. Since July 2012, she has been the founder of Human Asset Ltd., a boutique HR firm dedicated to fostering professional fulfillment in Cyprus. Her expertise encompasses executive search and candidate assessment, blended learning and development programs, performance management frameworks, and leadership of Cyprus’s premier Salary and Benefits Survey.

Ο Θεόδωρος Χατζηζαχαρίας, είναι ιατρός γενικός χειρούργος και πρόεδρος του «Φάρου Ζωής».
Γεννήθηκε στο Παραλίμνι της ελεύθερης επαρχίας Αμμοχώστου το 1989. Φοίτησε στα σχολεία
της γεννέτηράς του, ώντας σημαιοφόρος του γυμνασίου Παραλιμνίου. Ακολούθως υπηρέτησε
την στρατιωτική του θητεία ως Ανθυπολοχαγός σε φυλάκιο της Δερύνειας.
Σπούδασε Ιατρική στην Ελλάδα, όπου ακολούθως ειδικεύτηκε στην γενική χειρουργική. Είναι
κάτοχος μεταπτυχιακού διπλώματος στην Χειρουργική ογκολογία. Ακολούθως επαναπατρίστηκε
και διατηρεί ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στο Παραλίμνι. Είναι νυμφευμένος και πατέρας 5 παιδιών. Το 2

ο του παιδί διεγνώσθη στο φάσμα του αυτισμού και φοιτά στον Φάρο Ζωής. Στην γενική συνέλευση τον Μάιο του 2024 εκλέχθηκε πρόεδρος του Φάρου Ζωής.

Argyro Efstathiou

Argyro Efstathiou holds a BA Hons in Economics with specialization in Accounting and Finance, from the University of Manchester (2002). She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus since 2005. 

Argyro started her career as an external auditor at KPMG Cyprus in 2002, where she continued working until January 2018. From September 2014 until January 2018, she held the position of Principal at KPMG Cyprus, with extensive external audit experience in a wide range of industries, with main specialisation in Consumer Products (manufacturing, retail and distribution) and in Real Estate.

In January 2018, she joined Cyprus Trading Corporation Plc (CTC) as Head of Group Internal Audit, and she had direct reporting to the Audit Committees of the three public companies of CTC Group.

In April 2020, she accepted a new challenge within CTC Group as the Chief Financial Officer of Argosy Trading Company Ltd, Artview Company Ltd και Cassandra Trading Limited.

On 1 July 2024, she was promoted to Chief Operations Officer of CTC’s FMCG Unit, overseeing Finance, Logistics, Human Resources, Digital Operations, and Artview Company Ltd.

Robertos Karahannas

A Fulbright scholar with degrees in Accounting and Finance and an MBA from Lehigh University, Pennsylvania. A member of the honorary societies ΦΒΚ, ΒΓΣ and ΒΑΨ. A CPA, member of the ΑICPA and the ICPAC, with many years of experience in the fields of financial reporting, shipping, energy and Healthcare. In 1992 he started working in Cyprus as an auditor with Coopers & Lybrand. In 1995 he moved to Greece as the Regional CFO of Dow Jones Telerate, of which he also served as Chairman of the Board. From 2001 to 2006, he worked in shipping for Royal Olympic Cruises and Capital Maritime & Trading. He moved to Energy in 2006, working for the HELLENIC PETROLEUM Group in various roles until 2019, serving as a Board member and assuming in 2015 the position of CEO for EKO and Group General Manager of Domestic and International Trading. At the time he served as the President of the Association of Petroleum Trading Companies (ΣΕΕΠΕ). Today he serves as the Chief Financial Officer of the State Health Services Organization (ΟΚΥπΥ) and executive member of the Board of Directors.

Stelios Georgakis

Director General -  Head, Directorate General Payments at the Central Bank of Cyprus

 

Stelios joined the Central Bank of Cyprus (CBC) in 1992, after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC) in the UK. In January 2013 he became the Head of the Licensing and Regulatory Compliance Section of the Supervision Division. As such, he negotiated the AML action plan with the Troika relating to the banking sector, and oversaw its successful implementation. With the introduction of the Single Supervisory Mechanism (SSM) of the European Central Bank, he became responsible for the On-Site Inspections, the AML/CFT supervision and the prudential supervision of credit, payment and e-money institutions that fall outside the scope of the SSM. In March 2017 he became Head of the supervision of significant and less significant credit institutions. He was the CBC member of the EBA Board of Supervisors and alternate member of the Supervisory Board of the SSM.

Marios Andreou

Partner, Tax Advisory at PwC Cyprus

 

Marios Andreou is a tax partner at PwC Cyprus responsible for the business development efforts with the UK. Through his time with the Firm in London and in Cyprus, Marios has wide experience in international tax issues, PE and M&A transactions, double tax treaty application and EU tax law. 

Marios is the president of the Cyprus/UK business association which is under the auspices of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry and whose main purpose is to promote trade relations between Cyprus and the UK.

Marios is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Cyprus (ICPAC). He has served a number of years as a member of the taxation committee of ICPAC and was part of the Project Advisory Committee set up by the Economic Research Unit of the University of Cyprus in relation to the Cyprus Tax Reform which has been taken effect from 1 January 2026.

Marios is a graduate of the London School of Economics and Political Science (BSc (Econ) Econometrics and Mathematical Economics).

Marianna Polykrati

Marianna Polykrati is the Group Treasurer of Avramar Greece and Co-Founder & Managing Partner of Tetraktys Treasury. With more than 25 years of experience across Corporate Treasury, Banking and Corporate Finance, she has led treasury transformation initiatives, liquidity and crisis management projects, M&A integrations and financing negotiations in complex multinational environments.   

She previously held treasury leadership roles at Avramar Greece, Chipita and Vivartia and began her career in Venture Capital, Banking and leasing at Emporiki Bank. Marianna is an active speaker, moderator, mentor and advocate for the evolution of the treasury profession, with a strong focus on transformation, AI, automation and financial technology innovation.

In 2026, she was named Highly Commended Winner “Corporate Treasurer of the Year” at the Adam Smith Awards at Treasury Today Group.

Christoforos is a Board Member in KPMG Cyprus’ Risk Consulting practice, with more than 16
years of professional experience. He joined KPMG in Cyprus in 2013 after starting his career
with KPMG UK, where he delivered audit and advisory engagements for UK and US banking
clients. His expertise includes credit risk, internal control frameworks, business analysis, and the
transformation of finance and risk functions. He currently leads KPMG in Cyprus’ Risk &
Finance Transformation team and has delivered complex transformation programmes and
system implementations across the banking, asset management, insurance, government,
pharmaceutical, and construction sectors. Over the past decade, Christoforos has supported
numerous organisations in assessing finance, risk, and operations processes, controls, and
systems landscapes, providing advisory services ranging from process re-engineering to system
selection and implementation.

He has also led technology solution implementations supporting
regulatory and IFRS compliance, while improving operational efficiency across a broad range of
industries.

Constantinos Kounnis is the Managing Director of C. Kounnis & Partners Ltd, a Cyprus
professional services firm specializing in audit, tax and financial advisory services. He is a
Cambridge University Economics graduate, a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) and holds the
Advanced Diploma in International Tax (ADIT) with Distinction. He serves on ICPAC’s Tax
Compliance Committee, and ICPAC’s Transfer Pricing sub-committee and advises clients on
